18 years of age or older

Clinical diagnosis of T2D

Have been on stable diabetes treatment with metformin ≥1500 mg/day during the last 90 days

HbA1c ≥7.0% to ≤10.5%

Exclusion Criteria: (partial list)
Type 1 Diabetes
Have been treated with any antihyperglycemic medication (other than metformin) within the last 90 days
Have used any weight loss drugs or alternative remedies, including herbal or nutritional supplements, within the last 90 days

Participation requirements
Free medications, exams, and lab tests are provided, as well as up to $3550 compensation for time and travel.
